John Badik has been throwing pots and building ceramic sculptures for over thirty years. He has worked with many well-known clay artists in the tristate area, such as Rosemary Aiello, Tony Moore, and Jennie Chien. Some of the many venues he has exhibited in include the Belski Museum of Art and Science (NJ), GAGA Art Center (NY), Outside In (NY), Nyack and Valley Cottage Libraries (NY), and the Rockland Center for the Arts (NY).
John continues to develop his uninhibited body of work using various clay bodies, glazing techniques and firing processes. He also works with large scale outdoor sculptures — building rock cairns and collaborative ceramic assemblages such as the Mad Potter and Mr. Earl Grey in the Sculpture Garden at Rockland Center for the Arts.
